Jon and Julia are second time residents of Port Norfolk. They first lived in the neighborhood from 1991 until 1993 when the Navy transferred them to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. After returning to the area in 1996 they decided to buy another home in Port Norfolk. They purchased their 1915 Victorian in the 500 block in November of 1997.

Jon has been in the Navy since 1987 years and is currently stationed at Norfolk Naval Shipyard. Previously he was the Network and Database Administrator for the Reactor TIC Shack aboard the USS Eisenhower. Jon has worked in the computer field for over 20 years and operates Green Olive Tree, a full service web hosting, design and programming company.

Julia is a wife and mother to their 6 children, ranging in ages from 15 to 1 year old. Additionally she does free-lance Web and graphic design as part of the family's business, Green Olive Tree Design. In the past she was a Web Publishing Forum Assistant for AT&T Worldnet Internet Service and a Web Editor for Infoseek/Go.com.
